Just heard that there is a new ale house in Holmfirth,
possibly called Brambles. As we will be there this spring,
wondering where to find Brambles??

It was The White Hart and is situated in a prime position in the town, just across from the bus station and a small car park.

This Spring we go to Brambles --- after The Nook!

I am thinking about going to Holmfirth this year, where would be the best pubs to visit.

We like to eat/drink at The Farmer's Arms, The Nook, and The Old
Bridge Hotel. Sometimes we stop at The Postcard only because it is
across the street from our B&B (Springfield House).

If you are in for a Holme Valley walk, DO NOT miss The Fleece up
in Holme. Their Sunday Lunch is great!! And you can then
walk around Bilberry reservoir.
