Like all the episodes around this time, another classic.

There are a few familiar actors in this, the most notable is the great Hugh LLoyd.

This is a good, entertaining and very watchable episode. Not the best of the series, in fact I'd say it was third best, but a solid, amusing and lovely old school episode.

also featured John Barrard who was previously in Going To Gordon's Wedding.
Great lines,from memory
Compo; This is one of those places where people go to not eat much
Clegg:Sounds a bit like Bangladesh
Think it was something like that.Clegg in drag was good.Like the way Blamire and Foggy ate pate' to show they were a cut above :)

That is where i've seen him before!
I knew he had been in some comedy show or other but i was thinking along the lines of the Les Dawson show or similar, didn't twig it until you posted it CW.
Yep, he was the father of the bride......!!, now where have i heard that before?

G ; )

Think he was also in series one of One Foot in the Grave too.

He was, played the fella who thought he was having an affair with Margaret and went upstairs, undressed and got into her bed.
