Another one of those perfect episodes. Not much in the way of inventions or countryside here, as the trio go to an old friend's funeral. For some reason, Roy Clarke excelled in writing about death and funerals. Clegg's seemingly poignant thoughts at the end is brilliant.

its an ok episode with some funny bits but not a classic imo, i agree RC seems 2 excel in death and funeral eps but this is probly the weakest death/funeral ep there was imo, then again with treasure, certain smile and crums as the xmas special 88 had 3 top quality episodes imo. 5/10
