Two that come to mind who have gone before are Sir Alec Guinness and Leo McKern. Starred brilliantly together in Roy Clarke's "A Foreign Field".

I suppose Bill Owen and Kathy Staff are too obvious choices, but can you imagine meeting Kenneth Williams?! Or maybe Hattie Jaques? Brilliant! Or what about pretty much all the cast of The Plank!! I still think thats a funny film. Both versions.
