Huh?On LNER travel page today, so the train is not stopping because it did not stop where it was supposed to, now the train has not departed at the time I spotted this.

Even if you had a direct service, I find all the modern UK trains are so uncomfortable even in 1st class, plus as you mentioned unreliable, it takes the slightest problem and it all goes wrong, often LNER cancel their sub routes like Lincoln, Hull, Harrogate, Bradford if there is any glitches on the routes, which they seem to get a lot on a daily basis, on top of that long distance trains have faulty toilets, no or very limited catering, all reservations on a train cancelled, yet when booking you have to make a seat reservation and the slightest chance of bad weather they cancel routesI live in the biggest inland county in the UK and we've not had a direct rail link to the capital for over 5 years. When I do use the train, they're often cancelled, notoriously unreliable & overcrowded. I love traveling by train but I now drive pretty much everywhere for the aforementioned reasons which is sad.
