I just treated myself to a Geekom GT 1 Mega mini PC to replace my large gaming rig, not that I play much in the ways of games just the train sim. I am really impressed by this small PC, so quick and plays the Train sim without any issues, yet I can run this PC for 10 hours and only use 10% energy of the big machine, it works really well for video editing and the price is about the same as buying just a decent graphics card for a gaming rig, running 65watts max as opposed to 700 watts, my only issue I could mention that when under load the fan noise creeps up, happy days and the money I save on electric bills I can spend on Beer, Fags and funny women
 
Impressive bit of kit there. I've not heard of them before but like what I see. A quick search says it is Linux friendly, another plus. I may have to keep them in mind when future upgrades come calling. Thanks for sharing.

Definitely more compact than my full sized PC case with twin DVD drives. One for Region 1 NTSC discs and one for Region 2 PAL discs. :21:

Not used a built in DVD drive for some years Rick, just a USB C multi region portable drive I bought from Amazon for about £25 some time ago
