I have spotted in a couple of episodes where Foggy is wearing a Jacket instead of his big coat, they were Car & Garter and The Dewhirst of Oglby Hall, what other episodes did he wear a jacket

He wore his blazer in The Black Widow.( do's that count??)Also in Jubilee I think?

A lot of his early episodes.

The Great Boarding House Caper and Cheering Up Gordon.

The Kink in Foggy's Kniblick and Getting on Sidney's Wire.

He wore a Blazer and a Safari type jacket as well as the combat style in, "In the service of humanity"

Hector

Foggy never looked right in a jacket his combat jacket looked perfect,in the 1960,s I used to wear ex USA army combat jackets for cycling in the winter they were realy warm and lightweight and you could only get them in olive green so they were never a fashion statement.

When I left the US Air Farce, they took back my
Flight Jacket. I have missed it daily for
thirty-some-odd years now.

I think you are right - he only wore a suit for weddings or funerals - otherwise it was the regimental blazer and at other times under the green combat jacket was a tweed jacket either brown or green: we did see him in this when taking tea at Compo's house
