Favourite Eli moments

Sorry if this has been done before, but do you have any favourite Eli moments? There are lots of good ones, including where he walks into a conservatory on the back of a lorry.

Does anyone know if Eli was Roy Clarke's idea for a character or Alan Bell's? Presumably he was inspired by Mr Magoo.

It was the time our "visually challenged" hero "OUT DELLED DEL BOY !!!!"......
Remember the moment Del fell through the bar when he was talking to Trigger.....it was voted the best comedy moment !!!......WELL....due to the brilliant writing of Mr.Clarke Eli did the very same thing BEFORE John Sullivan wrote the episode in O.F.A.H. !!!!....but Eli's was never mentioned !!!....ANOTHER FIRST FOR "OUR SHOW !!!!!!!!!!!!".

Can't recall the episode but the pub is emptying of people faster than a bucket of water with multiple holes in the bucket the next shot shows Eli with Darts in his hand and about to throw.

I remember 2 episode with him playing darts, the first where he threw them into a seat next to the trio & another like the one mentioned above, I think in both cases the background music was like the Bullseye theme!

I liked it when Eli went walking his dog in the countryside & ended up bringing back a sheep!
