A story about Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds popped across my news feed this morn. Talking about the the band's song Red Right Hand and it's use as the theme song in the show Peaky Blinders. Nick was asked if he felt this had introduced new people to the band to which he replied something along the lines of heck yeah. He then politely and probably wisely declined to answer his favorite football team between Birmingham City (where the show Peaky Blinders takes place) or Aston Villa.
The picture in the article made me think that Nick looks a lot like Boabby the bartender from Still Game. I know they are not the same person but the humorous thought that they were did flicker through my mind. Could Boabby secretly be living the double life of the Australian singer Nick Cave
? Anyone else think they sort of look similar? Inquiring minds want to know.
