I've heard Clegg mention this location several times, but have the trio ever visited there in any episode?

I don't think so. It sounds like a place with a bad reputation. We have an estate called Cobbetts. At school it was always expected for kids from 'Cobbetts' to have stones in their pockets. It is a nice place to live now.
