My words were about the local hospital and other services but my actual GP is excellent. The hospital is also fine but it has issues that shouldn't exist within a place where life and death are sometimes in the balance.

I want to add that I find the "if you don't attend this appointment the NHS will lose a zillion pounds" etc ridiculous. And when you go there's a back log of 2 hours. It's an utter joke. I attend hospital a few times a year because of my rheumatoid arthritis and, every time, every time, I...

This guy was absolutely ridiculously brilliant. I'm embarrassed to say, and I've been into rock since 1978 I have only recently really got into him. Obviously I heard this and that over the years but when you really listen he blows your socks off.

Janis Joplin And Big Brother & The Holding Company Live Album is one of my top faves. I've played this since I was 18 several times each summer since and now I'm in the Autumn years. Absolutely brilliant album. I love how raw it is. Class album. Summertime.

I fast every few months. I learned it when I was in a UFO cult years ago (yes really - 9 years). It's very effective. 3 x 1 litre bottle no food, no other drink.
