i quite like the occasional other noise. There's a moment in the "Divided we Stand" episode of Steptoe and Son (the one where Harold partitions the house) where you see Albert walking past and all you can see above the partition is his hat, and you can hear one of the audience members laughing...

this is a poor series...Black Widow is by far the best episode for me, and i went for Aladdin, just because the final scene with them on the water is a perfect bit of long shot physical comedy and always makes me roar with laughter.
