Disappointing news. I think Over the Rainbow Results has messed things up for an April start. :'( http://uk-tv-guide.com/list/BBC+1+London/18+April+2010 This provides an opportunity for series 32 to be commissioned before series 31 is shown, but I wouldn't bet on it. :'(

This is a shock. As Juliette says, the plan was to make a decision about recommissioning after some of the new episodes had aired. I wonder what changed. ???

Re: COOPER & WALSH New Series We need to be cautious here, as it's unlikely both shows would be commissioned at the same time. A green light for a spin-off could have implications for Summer Wine. The Only Fools and Horses prequel has put the kybosh on The Green Green Grass.

I haven't seen anything official about Stephen Lewis, but someone on Digital Spy posted that they've seen him out and about in their neighbourhood. Hopefully it was a true posting.

I've been told they need the Last of the Summer Wine repeats for the BBC HD channel as there is still a shortage of HD content available for filling that channel's schedules. That's why we're not getting them on BBC One these days. Of course there are still the older, non-HD episodes, but...

G.O.L.D. don't believe in repeating episodes in any kind of order! ;D
