    It was mentioned on one episode how many tests Edie had taken. I think it was 8, but not sure. That would be the same number of times that it took my Dad to pass.

    The newest car that I can think of to have a similar item built-in was the VW Golf. You could leave the sidelights on on just one side, for parking at night. It's still a legal requirement (UK) to park at night in the direction of the traffic flow, but seems to be ignored nowadays. Remember...
