    Summerwine Day/Weekend

If it's on next year and not in mid July when I've my annual week in in Blackpool booked in, I'll be there in a heartbeat. It was absolutely brilliant and everyone I spoke to loved every minute of it.

    Software Woes

Tell me about it, I have to click past adverts every time on my kitchen TV just to watch standard terrestrial TV which really annoys me. That said I pretty much only watch Heartbeat on ITV3 on permanent loop so I'd probably be better just watching the DVD set!!!!

    A few random thoughts

I'm completely with you FatCap50 I love the amazing scenery in high definition and the sedate pace of the latter series. And the cameo appearances by @maltrab are the icing on the cake.......

Norman Cleggs painting over the mantle

Is there a specialist art forum you can post your picture on @Tom and Reb I'd love to hear if you can solve your mystery. Whilst I'm confident mum and dad had that picture it's a pretty ubiquitous scene so I may have confused with with something else.

Norman Cleggs painting over the mantle

Not sure if it helps, but I'd hazard a guess it could be the Norfolk Broads

Poundstretcher used to sell them in the late 80's they were less than a quid for a 75ml bottle. The smell wore off after about 1/2 hour tho

I agree, often these glamorous types are extremely vain and won't appear in anything without being 4 hours in make up. I think it was testament to her that she agreed to play this part looking very plain indeed when clearly she is a very beautiful woman. Perhaps the makers got the idea from On...

    Losing the Will

Sadly these teams are often known as overflow support or the like. Basically they're typically 3rd party companies just there to take messages or more realistically fish out the priority sales calls. As a suggestion you should tell them you're wanting to buy a new one at the same time - you'll...

    Hey Grapple Fans

Outstanding Ferret! to be fair I thought no one would ever get it from my vague clues. Yes but he's on the posters in the cafe if you look out for them. Perhaps a subject matter expert like @theatrically_inclined could elaborate on which series, from memory it's the early ones.
