While we sat on the bench with our brew and a sticky bun Gill reminded me about the live camera on Beatties so I had quick look and ….EH Up…there we were. Not very clear but that’s probably a good thing :)

    Holmfirth today August ‘24

It had been a while since we visited Holmfirth so off we went today. Managed to dodge any traffic en route so only took 50 minutes. We had a great wander around….and a brew at Sid’s.

    The agony of choice

I’ll have to add another into the mix. Large meringue, crispy on the outside and chewy in the middle..probably the equivalent of eating a 2lb bag of sugar but it’s not every day! From Pronto Deli in Leek Staffs.

    Must be summer hols....

We have those on our local bypass to deter boy racers and super car racers. In a trial for the first 16 months it recorded 1,900 activation’s that would have resulted in £130,00 worth of fines. I think it’s going live this year.

Cheers. You get a reduced price for going in a vw but anything goes. Last year we went in my Skoda and took the teepee. I had already bought tickets for the camper but they just waved me through as I was in a VAG group vehicle :)
