I love it George. I was born down here in Surrey, but the majority of my relatives are from Jarrow. My husbands says that when we go up there as soon as we get past Doncaster my accent changes.
I have noticed that Ivy's tea looks very weak and milky, which is surprising as 'Yorkshire' people are supposed to be stronger than most. We prefer 'builders tea' down here.

Robert Vaughn and Stephanie Cole/Auntie Joan were both in Coronation Street last year (or the year before possibly). They met on a cruise. I understand that Robert asked to be in Corrie, having watched it while he was doing Hussle. As an actor of great age and repute, they let him. It was fun.
I think that Jacket Potatoes got popular whe we had the old 'Spud-U-Like' outlets. Before that we only had them on November 5th, cooked under the bonfire!
