    The War Years or Beyond

I liked 'Where The Heart Is' I liked the cast better. I seem to remember that either Where The Heart Is and the Royal were considered to be dropped, and The Royal won. Bad move as far as I was concerned.

I liked Linda Billingham in the OXO ads, but we are getting her in the afternoons in something called 'Faith in the Future' which is dreadful.

    Regulars who didn't appear together

I think that he lived his life playing the part he had created for himself. He was also a very talented actor and song writer.

    LOTSW abroad

That is it Chuck. Patrick Brooke did a great job on it, but he had to give it up for, I think, personal reasons. Pat Carline also was involved, and she started up her own group, but she also seems to have disappeared. I still belong to her group, but it is mostly just old friends who go along...

    LOTSW abroad

I met my best friend through LOTSW. She, at the time lived in Hagerstown MD. They showed it on the PBS and she loved it. We both belonged to a LOTSW group and exchanged letters at one time and it went on from there. We have been friends for ten years now. She was over for a visit to London last...

    flippin heck it's cold

It has barely risen above freezing down here in the south. A handy way to work out Fahrenheit from centigrade is to double it and add thirty by the way. So that makes 0c come to about 30f ( I think)

    Scotch Song Book

Big Unc, please read on before you tear out you hair. I have been sorting through some of my mother's treasure and came across part of an old song book Called 'Fifty Scotch Songs'. There are only two songs left, it is in tatters. The first is 'The Blue Bells of Scotland' And then one I never...
