    Best Performance #2

What's the episode where he plays the piano at the going away party for Nora's neighbour who's emigrating to Australia? The piano playing is amazing and reminds me of Les Dawson's later (I think) piano skills - both of them amazing!

    What about Seymour?

I thought when he 'landed' outside Cleggy's house in his first appearance that he said he was from a few streets away.

And is Mitzi really a Mitzi?

It's not quite cos the dog was sitting alone on the settee - but it's close enough to get the picture if you know what I mean.

    What about Seymour?

That's the episode Marianna. I remember now. You have a much better memory than have!

And is Mitzi really a Mitzi?

No it's not that view. It's when she's sitting upright and side on to the camera. I'll have to rewatch it. As I said it could be my mistake but just wondering if the trained dog was a male but made a 'female' to fit into the role for the plot - ie so Marina thinks Howard has a new lady friend.

    What about Seymour?

Possibly - I thought about that but the way it was said was as if they didn't have a brother at all

And is Mitzi really a Mitzi?

I was watching the episode this week with Mitzi the spaniel on Gold and just for a second or two you could see Mitzi sitting on Cleggy's settee side on to the camera. Either I need to wear my glasses more often to watch TV or Mitzi had apparel more frequently seen on a male dog. I could pull...

    What about Seymour?

I was recently watching an episode of LOTSW on Gold - I've forgotten the title. Anyway the ladies were having a coffee morning and musing, as usual, about men. Ivy made a comment that she knew something or other because she had grown up with a younger brother. To which Ros replied that she...

    Auntie comes up trumps

I've seen two episodes and they're fascinating and I feel that the colour footage just brings the people and events to life and easier for us to relate to them.

    Series 1 dates

No I didn't know this! I'll try and remember this. But do you mean I can edit after posting the thread?

    Series 1 dates

Sorry there shouldn't be an 8 in the previous post. I meant all episodes.

    Series 1 dates

Were 8all episodes copyrighted the year they were produced or the year they were shown?

    Series 1 dates

Actually Cap n Mac I think exactly the same as you do about the dates of the series. I think 'where was I working when that series was made or first shown'? Or what was happening in the world at that time? Especially as they have often made reference to Brussels. I wonder what the plots...

Who's looking after the cafe? Episode

Yes!....... those were the days! Did anyone else like the bits of batter left from the frying that we call locally scrumpies? We used to ask for them with our chips.
