    Still There

There was a pool like that near where I lived, it's under an industrial estate now. The school I went to had an outside swimming pool, it too had fallen in to disrepair, but was still full of water and overgrown with weed.

    Similarities

Sadly, more likely, cost and practicality ... you'd need stunt performers, a bit of health and safety, and probably duplicate bikes adapted for stunt work... One of Arkwright's bikes was adapted, he rides round a corner and the front wheel rolls down the hill by itself ... followed by Arkwright...

I do turn the radio down to reverse / parallel park. Only thing is, my partner does not have a volume knob.

    Who Remembers

The shape of the front and grille makes me think that's a Bedford van. The Shinyglow van was an Austin A152.

The possibility of a new episode

I'm citing 'Emmanuel' as it does not have the soul of the 'real' Carry On's (and too much of Williams' backside). I'd forgotten about 'England', now that's stuck in my head. I think it was only the bits the censor cut out, that made 'England' nearly a Carry On, and not nearly p0rn!

Where do we see the numbers

The Government had already issued information about air raids, gasmasks and using gardens to grow your own veg, so it's very likely something 'official'.

The possibility of a new episode

I'm just going to say... "Do you remember the several, failed, attempts to revive the 'Carry On... films?". I would like to enter 'Carry on Emmanuel', and 'Carry On Columbus' in to evidence, as the nearest thing to trying to "remake" something, without the heart and soul of the original.

Where do we see the numbers

Now you've solved that number question, you won't mind me hijacking this post to ask if anyone knows what this poster is on the end of the terrace used for Foggy's home in First of the Summer Wine. Just the number '460' is readable. The same poster appears in another scene, but its not any...

    Got my PC working

My Mokka is really the first car I've had with proper tech being responsible for most of the functions. I'm concerned if it ever had a grey-out!
