It was a bit of a risk leaving it so late. I thought it might be due to the availability of a guest star, but Jean Alexander was the only principal actor other than the usual cast. If I could find the document it might also have the studio and audience record dates.
According to one of the documents I've seen - there's so much stuff I can't lay my hands on it right now - the location filming dates for “What’s Santa Brought for Nora Then?” were 26 November to 3 December 1989!

Also ... that's an indoor connection box, not suitable for all weather use.
Even if it was mains electricity, it would be rare for it to explode!
