    Edie obviously passed her test in Summerwine land. Surely, Edie taking multiple driving tests would have made some great content for the show? She probably passed after barrating the examiner & telling him that she'd powdered his bottom as a baby.

    The newest car that I can think of to have a similar item built-in was the VW Golf. You could leave the sidelights on on just one side, for parking at night. It's still a legal requirement (UK) to park at night in the direction of the traffic flow, but seems to be ignored nowadays. Remember...

    To repeat a popular phrase, "I think we've cracked it this time." Thanks for this info, we've driven passed the area, but need to get out on foot. We'll definitely check it out on our next visit in March, if not sooner.

    I think the lane is called "Bradshaw" & is pictured in a summerwine country book, without the snow. We have tried many times to find it, without success, although someone told us that it's a bridalway. Any positive directions would be appreciated.
