Can you spot it

Comics are very protective of their jokes , Bob Monkhouse and Ken Dodd meticulously documented their tales ,jokes and stories in their own collection of handwritten books and very quite indignant of other comics used them , I wonder if Roy Clarke has similar and perhaps references the scripts he used on OAH to take selective ideas .

The Still Open episode today has Granville buying tins from some Asian country with unreadable labels , Granville shakes the tin near his ear and pronounces it as some Asian related meal sound familiar Arkwright with tins which had lost their labels . I's still not sure if it is Roy running out of ideas or perhaps just giving a nod to OAH.

This one I think is intended as an affectionate nod but other plots and ideass are lifted wholescale, note also the lack of 'comedy accent' being employed and compare and contrast with the tone in OAH for similar subject matter.

Those with a keen eye , telescope and of course have access to U and Gold will see the LOTSW equivalent of a lunar eclipse today , It's one of the unique days where you can see the very last and very first episodes of our beloved show on the same day . I couldn't begin to calculate when this next occurs , assuming Gold keep broadcasting it , but it will certainly be 2026 .
