I'm due some holiday money and thought I'd see how much the Alan J Bell book is secondhand. Was shocked how much it is so unfortunately won't be buying it. At least I have Andrew Vine's book.

Maltrab, that pages shows a more affordable book by Morris Bright. Do you know if that one is worth reading?

The Morris Bright book is good, though the Alan Bell book has much more in depth details

I think all three books have different details, but Alans book is probably a more interesting and accurate read

Have you checked Abe Books? Look for a UK seller to reduce the shipping cost to your home. Brit Books, in Milton Keynes, lists one used copy available as of this morning. The price seemed reasonable for a book that's becoming somewhat rare.
