I see there is already email and text scams aimed at the older folks, this is to entice them to claim this years cold weather payment, there is no need to claim this it will be paid if you fit this years entitlement.
I really hope nobody gets fooled by these scams

If told you what I think should happen to these people you'd ban me but it involves a hammer, some nails and an elastic band think of crusifixion but lower down. Takes a special kind of %&%^&* to con the elderly.

They have hearts blacker than a Bailiffs !!!......just give me 5 minutes in a room with them.....they wouldn't be able to ever type again !!....lower than a snake's belly !!!.
