Love this episode, would it be fair to say this was the last ever proper Christmas special ?

To be fair Howard could never be described as " tall " and thus he is a big enough half man of the world to handle two part sweaters as these are sleeveless jumpers [tank tops in my day ]

A tank top if you wore it as a single item on top by itself was otherwise known as a singlet if you wore it under a shirt. If I am correct it is known as a vest in the United Kingdom. In the late 60's and early seventies sleeveless sweaters were "gear" or all the rage in English and referred to as tank tops . Cotton singlets /vests also referred to as muscle vests are a different kettle of fish , British Comic Micky Flannagan does a great routine about wearing a singlet won't spoil it sure it will be on You Tube or Social media.
But have you heard of a Shacket

I have wouldn't wear one but yes I have . Given I only have shirts no jumpers or coats its a bit on the weighty side for me .
In the Midlands it's called a pullover.
2 of my grandson wear them, him in doors paid a fortune for one from M&S and never wore it because " it's to thick as a shirt and and doesn't have pockets like a jacket "
so in the wardrobe it sits!
