wow..i didn't realise that this wonderful show attracted so many unpleasant arrogant people. It's no wonder Eli wants to leave with comments like "labels the writer as a bit of a d*ckhead" and "That's moronic". It seems respect isn't high on peoples thoughts here.

Why does there have to be "we" and "them"? it's a free world and anyone can speak and use whatever grammer or type of speak they like. If you don't understand...
How about if you just ignore posts you don't understand...or you could just accept that language moves on and that abbreviations online are s common part of our culture now and stop trying to control what others post. You could always just take a bit of time to learn what the abbreviations...
Unfortunatly it's a recurring thing in this site that there are a lot of "grumpy sods" who don't understand that you can't have life the way that just they want it. Your posts are always understandable (altho I say it as someone who uses txt speak themselves a lot), and if people have problems...

And here's an interesting one (the last i have) from July 3rd 1980, in which Bill Owen tells the readers that the series has ended. There was a repeat of "Full Steam Ahead" showing that night. In fact it would return, but not for another 18 months.
