I am proud of you about not drinking. It is hard for someone to realize they have a problem. My dad was a great man but he couldn't let go of it and it took him away mentally and physically. So I say again Great Job!!! :D

Watching the start of new eras in Summer Wine- as I watch one epsisode of Summer Wine daily from Blamire to Hobbo I take joy in observing the start of each era- Seeing Foggy's debut, the Seymour, then Foggy's return, and then Truly.

Not to mention I enjoy seeing the start of secondary characters, such as Wesley, Barry, Billy, Entwhistle, and Smiler (and even Tom). Yesterday, Jaws was on and it was great to see Eli for the first time in a while (sorry Susan).

Seeing the debut of these guys means I will get to enjoy their escapades for some time.

So many. Really, so many. Especially:-

God. He must have a belting sense of humour, even if I sometimes get in the way.

Thank you Beth, sorry to hear about your Dad. We have a temperance organization here in Ireland known as the Pioneer Association of which nearly all my family were and still are members. Then I came along and broke that mould good and proper! But anyway I`ve managed to come out the other end relatively unscathed. I`m not a particularly religious man but certainly someone was looking after me during that dark period in my life ;)

I have to add this. I took my daughters and their friends on a short weekend vacation (excuse me holiday ;)) this weekend. My oldest is going back to Purdue University and my 12 year old is will be heading back to school soon so it was a bit of a bittersweet celebration. I took them to a waterpark called Holiday World. We had such a good time but my favorite moment was when we were all in a "wave pool" which simiates the waves from a ocean with small breaks inbetween. During one of those breaks they happened to play some of the old 1970's classic rock so I attempted to dance in the water. My oldest daughter, Ashley followed my lead while my youngest, Rachel, tried to ignore us. The others that were with us joined in and we started dancing in a circle and each of us took turns dancing in the middle of this circle. We started laughing so hard that even Rachel and friend joined in and we realized that others were watching us and smiling. It was a great moment!!! I love being spontaneous much like the men characters in LOTSW. I guess that is why I like this show so much. ;D :D

I have to add:

2. love to draw
3. watching nature..walking through the woods
4. love to snorkel (only did it once but loved it)
5. love to go to flea markets
This made me think of something I would love to do. I have always wanted to buy a metal detector and go exploring. That must sound a bit foolish but I always thought it would be great fun to find a treasure. ;D
