I'v got several photos that I'd like to share with you,they're not all "Then and now" photos,I took a few while out and about around Holmfirth,I'll put them up one at a time over the next week or so,if that's ok,
This one is from one of my favourite ever scenes,its the very tree in Holmfirth,22 or so years on,where Compo,fearing he was losing his sexual magnetism,gave Nora the full blast,
Every time I walk past this tree I picture this scene,where Nora thinks his best wink is a twitch,and he pleads with Nora "Don't fight it love,lets begone with all this pretence" and Foggy and Cleggy are on the bench next to the stream applauding his failed efforts,
Its also the scene where I think he gets his lines wrong and they keep it in,where he says to Nora "Tha's a man and I'm a woman"
