Roy Clarke Honoured (at last)

Roy Clarke has just picked up a lifetime achievement award at the British Comedy awards and gave a very nice speech, they showed some great clips of all his shows and Clive Swift introduced him, and although the audience was mainly made up of youngsters they all gave him a lovely reception ,was so nice to see, I also spotted Pearl and Howard in the audience.

I was thrilled when I found this out this morning, I get sooo annoyed watching these awards shows that the people who have been in the business years and years never seem to get awarded anything.

I think the prime example of this is all the wonderful actresses such as Barbara Knox, Elieen Derbyshire etc) dont win anything at the Soap Awards or even get nominated.
