Me, secret bird watcher

There is a bald eagles nest not far from where my parents lived. Was a real treat to watch one fly by on occasion. Got to see the local osprey fishing more so than the eagles.

Thanks on the links, nice.

I chuckled as my mind went on a spin when I read the title of this post. Thought of Richard Briers as Tom from The Goods / Good Neighbors when he asked a utility man on what would be good thing to scare birds. Tom of course was meaning the kind with feathers that were after the crops in his garden. While the utility man was more thinking of birds as in clippies from On the Buses that Stan and Jack were always chasing. Anyway, I just had the image of you being covert like Howard from LotSW checking out some shapely legs with binoculars. Hopefully without a Pearl nearby saying to go and 'binocle' somewhere else. :29:

My cat is a good "bird watcher." I was sitting here typing and heard this really loud thump. It was the cat trying to get the bird that was on the other side of the sliding glass door.
