I've been really lucky to be able to see the picasso collection he donated to the New Walk Museum and have seen the portrait of him by Bryan Organ hanging there. Its a beautiful portrait of him and the collection is amazing. He was born a stones throw from where I went to school.

Just had a look at his IMDb entry. Could not fail to note that his mother was born Mary Clegg.

Magnificent career. Just noted he directed 'Shadowlands', a beautiful film.
