Going to Florida!

Hope that you had a fine time in St. Augustine. It has the distinction of being the oldest city (or one of the oldest cities) in the US and contains the oldest schoolhouse. There is an alligator ranch nearby. Hope that you were able to appreciate the historical aspect of the area. Also I really hope that you absolutely appreciate this time with your parents. Sometimes it seems that family life will go on and on and then suddenly everything changes in a heartbeat.
 
You are right Anador, lost my dad 3 years ago this month at 69. Was healthy all his life, never abused his body,except for rich cheeses and ice cream, but fit. Then the last 5 years he had heart valves replaced and never really recovered. Diverticulitsis (sp) complications took him too early. Never got to say good bye.

Sorry to bring down the conversation with all of that. I suppose I needed to get it off my chest.
