Hello all,
Just a warning to watch your banking information.
Over the last 5 weeks we have been victims of attempted fraud 3 times. I got a letter from a company (that I shop at frequently, name brand store) saying that they lost my debit card information and it might be a good idea to go get another number from our bank. So I did that, got my new card and then someone in California tried using my wife's card number. She went through the process of getting another card, then yesterday I get a call from our bank suspending my new card, someone in California tried used my new card at a Kmart and returned the items for cash. All cards had different numbers, so not sure how they are picking on us. I'm thinking, "inside job", but that is just my opinion.
All transactions have been stopped by our bank thankfully, nothing was touched in our account, and she told me this morning that they are seeing a lot of fraud this year.
We have never had anything like this happen, it is a real eye opener.
So, I'd thought I would share just to keep everyone aware.
