Doctor Who - 12th Doctor revealed

So the new doctor has been announced, the actor taking over from Matt Smith is Peter Capaldi, so what do us Doctor Who fans on this forum think of the choice? I think it's a refreshing change to go for an older doctor and enjoyed his performances in an earlier Doctor Who episode and Torchwood so hope he will be a good doctor, will be sorry to see Matt go but the show is about regeneration and i'm looking forward to seeing Peter in the show, good look to him

I only know him from the vicar of dibley all those years ago, loved that show
