Who is or was the best TV cook or Presenter. I'm a fan of James Martin. Nigel Slater and Rick Stein after visiting his home town of Padstow in Cornwall.

Hairy Bikers for the humour food isn't that great.
I've met both Rick & James, Rick seemed a genuinely down to earth guy happy to chat, I met James at a book signing and he was clearly disinterested in anything other than selling as many books as he could and didn't even lift his head from signing.
Rick Stein ignited my love of fish which I still have to this day.

Giada De Laurentiis and Martin Yan if I had too pick two. I like a lot of the chefs on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, but for the most part, they're no names, but many are very talented..

There's plenty of American cooking shows across Sky network such as Cake Boss. Amazing cakes I must admit

Bourdain was probably the best of the American Shows he always pushed the boundaries .

Is she still around.
She's very much alive and kicking! She was in an episode of Benidorm she's also appeared recently in a C5 programme about motorhomes with her son. She's very much an A-Lister, she'll no doubt have her name carved into the Hollywood walk of fame before long.....
