A chink in a Battleaxe`s armour.

There is a scene in "The Glory Hole" where Nora gets quite emotional in response to an entirely out of character Wesley's continued barbs about how small Wally was while doing some painting for Nora. Its right before Compo uses his air-raid siren, which causes Wesley to dump paint all over Nora.
 
How about the time Clegg takes his bike to Sid's to get him to repair it and Sid ends up riding
it around the patio out front and the chain comes loose ...again! Poor Sid! The boys take him into the cafe for a strong, sweet tea. When he does come into the cafe, Ivy looks genuinely concerned for Sid!!!
 
When Compo drove Wesley's "car" into the lake Nora rushed to his side and gave him the kiss of life. Not for the first time did Compo have one of Wesley's contraptions to thank for getting a kiss from Nora :D
