TV Advert Filming

Has anyone actually seen any exterior filming for TV adverts, I cannot recall ever spotting a film crew out and about,if you did where was it and do you know what is was for
 
I saw them filming outside our local CO-OP last year, the footage was included in one of their adverts and was on screen for about 5 seconds! The company i work for is currently in Liverpool working with Channel 4 racing on an advert to promote some of this seasons races. We're designing four gardens/allotments that will be used for horses to run and jump through- should be interesting!
