I am not sure its true but Roy Clarke originally wanted Jellytot Julie to sell them for Arkwright but Arkwright struggled too much with the reply when Mrs Parslow asked who she was most attempts were on the lines of " S-S-S_Sea sh-sh-sh-sh sh shells sh-sh-sh-sh-sh shovels in the swa-swa-wa sweety sh sh sh shop"
