There is one more major task for me to perform, which could potentially take up to 24 hours, though normally just a couple of hours.
Terry and I have discussed the best time to carry this out and have decided that Thursday morning is the best time.

So, I will make the changes on Thursday morning and the site will be down for at least a couple of hours from about 0900 GMT

Thank you so much Tony and Terry for your sterling efforts to retain the site's stability and facilities , you have my every sympathy been in that position many many times having to upgrade mainframe operating systems and network configurations . I don't know , if like me, when M & S had the issues with being hacked I was relieved I wasn't on their network support team , no matter how routine changes to the core of any systems are it's still a very onerous time .

It's not the re-configuration of the web server or the web site it's the actual entries......... I can only make one change at a time, then I have to wait for that to propogate through the system before I can enter number bloody two!! pointing out here that there are about 40 entries to re-configure :13:
