A fun song even more fun live.

I'm not posting a video, but I am posting a link to the Fairport Convention Official Cropredy video page. They, in their wisdom, have made publicly available a huge collection of very high quality videos from their Cropredy gigs. And boy, they have given me hours of total immersive delight!

Thank you so much for posting that link Tony , brilliant I will watch all the videos today but had to go for the Lark in the morning first, memories of Swarb , but wow what a huge surprise when I opened it just fantastic.

is it me but is there a soupcon of Morrisey in the opening vocal bars of the song.

There's a little story with this song which I christened the Bingo song . Do we have any Bingo players on here ?? I'm not but I have family who are and they go regularly . Some of them mark their books with pens but some have something called a Dabber which come in a variety of colours which you simply dab on the number and it marks the book in that spot to say that number has come out .

I love the original of this from Quincy Jones , these guys have remixed it but throughout the song it sounds like someone asked the vocalist do you want to use a pen to mark you bingo book and he responds "I'll use my Dabber!" Apologies its quite a long song but its a great song anyway . :)
