Sid was such a sad miss........an absolute natural who you could see genuinely enjoyed the whole "cafe experience".
He and Jane were perfect together.....you believed they were actually married.
His timing.....his maaaasive smile.... his warmth.....and in my humble opinion THE best scene out of all his wonderful scenes......"I'M GOING RACING !!!!!....A MAN HAS TO DO WHAT A MAN HAS TO DO !!!!!"......followed by a swift WHACK from Ivy's bag !!!!.....comedy gold !!!!.
He was born to play Sid.....he did not have to act......a wonderful actor and a wonderful man.
