Just wondering which episode Compo said he'd been to the cinema and the film had, what he called "sub-tit-les". I want to watch it, but I can't remember which episode it was. I know it was a Blamire one.

That's the one. Thanks Roger. The lumberjack wanted to cut down this lady's tree, so she tied herself to it with nothing on.

Since the first time I saw that episode, it's nearly all I can manage to avoid pronouncing "subtitles" as Compo pronounced it.

That's the only thing I call them now days, sub-tit-les. Much to Mum's annoyance.
