Reminiscing

Yesterday I was indulging myself in a bout of reminiscing, nothing much else to do at my time of life, anyway, I was reminiscing when a few words popped into my head, 'Pat him on the PO PO. Where the heck did that come from? My little grey cells searched for more about PO PO and up popped a few more words, 'Feet up, pat him on the po-po, let's hear him laugh'. Then a name came up, Guy Mitchell. He was a great singer. I couldn't remember any more of the song. At first, I thought it was about a monkey. I searched for the song on the net, found it, and played it. It is about a man singing of his new little boy. It is such a lively jolly song and makes you smile. They don't write such happy cheerful songs these days. Is anyone out there old enough to remember Guy Mitchell? I was surprised to see how many hits he had recorded. Fantastic. I have plenty to listen to now. :D
