Quirky films

What quirky films would people recommend? One of the best I've seen is the Australian film Malcolm which has the added benefit of using music by the Penguin Cafe Orchestra. I've also got a soft spot for Brazil which is a quirky dystopian story.

I love Steve Martin's Dead Men wear Plaid , really clever how they selected the clips and spliced them into the film . The wierdest film I ever saw was Eraserhead just completely bizarre.

For some strange reason back in the late '60's (here in the States) the powers-to-be decided to modernize(?) the high school English classes. The classics were ditched. In one class, we watched films. These were produced by the Film Board of Canada and all of these films were QUIRKY; and they all had all the ambiance and flavor of a typical LOTSW episode. One of these films showed the trials and tribulations of two men who for some unknown reason, carried a large wardrobe around a town. This brings to mind that LOTSW episode where they put Compo in a coffin and carried it around town.

The quirkiest film EVER has to Casino Royale (1967) with David Niven.

Seen it a good few times.

If you watch it, tell me what it is about...
