I found this River Cam for York which it says is live and when you watch it does refresh but it shows the extent of the flooding . The Cam is between the Lowther and Kings Arms pubs which are under water again and is looking towards the Queens Hotel where its garage, which is below the Hotel itself, is completely under water .
I know it happens fairly frequently the Kings Arms even has a measuring board which records the levels of the flooding in the pub by date . The pub is basically stone throughout and its something they seem to deal with as it always appears to reopen when the waters subside but it must get really disheartening when its your business and livelihood as it is equally soul destroying for those who have their residencies flooded it is so so distressing to see these images.
