Hi Liana

I think this subject has been discussed on the forum some years back and is probably well know by our bunch of Barmpots, nice to see you here after some time

I loved how they played the music with her apparence, those hats had to be made by the costume designer because no way did a shop stock those.

Are you still staying in your trusty T3?
It’s gone :( .. we’ve bought a t5. We had reached the point of wanting something that did more than 20 miles to the gallon and it was going to need a bit of work to keep it in good nick so I sold it to a younger man whose going to do just that. We had some great times in it over the years and had nursed it to its 42nd year.IMG_8320.jpeg

Love the picture, bet that feels like driving a ferrari after the engine in the T3 :D :D :D

Hello Liana,

I posted a few years back , Stan Laurel spent some time with his family living in North Shields a fishing port at the mouth of the Tyne . He lived in Dockwray Square above the port , there are long flights of steps that take you up and down to the port itself and it's postulated that he got the idea for the Music box from his days running up and down those flights to the port. Here are pictures of the blue plaque from his house and the statue that adorns the square . His father ran a theatre in the town and it is believed Stan helped out at a very young age all of which added to him learning his craft.

It does to be honest Barry but I could repair most things on the t3 engine but not so sure I’ll be as proficient on that front with this one. We have just got back from the Dickensian market at Ulverston.IMG_9553.jpegIMG_9551.jpegIMG_9537.jpeg
