For several weeks I have been under the weather and in some pain, following visits to my GP, Blood test etc, I was sent off for a CT scan,this was on a Sunday evening at 6pm, the results were back last Wednesday and the scan revealed it is a Hernia, I already have a consultation in a couple of weeks at our local cottage hospital, which should be soon followed by surgery under local anesthetic, this will mean about 6-8 weeks of not being able to go to the gym, this is no great loss as I never went before, I never understood paying someone to go and lift heavy things
I am keeping my chins up, Terry

What everyone else said, plus my two cents worth. Do exactly as you're told by the medical experts both pre- and post-op and I'll be expecting a report about six weeks post-op that you're A-OK.
