Is this a farewell

I did spot it when I watched it, hopefully he is disgruntled because the BBC bosses have told him they are not commissioning another series of Still Open All Hours .
 
I've tried watching the new version but really can't get into it. I'm a huge fan of the original but the new ones are below par unfortunately.
