Internet cleaning day

I heard from one of my colleagues at my Internet supplier that they’re re-introducing “Internet Cleaning Day” on the 3rd December at 12:03AM
The plan would be to shut down the internet and scrub it clean which should take no longer than 6 hours. During that time lost packets would be cleaned out of routers, dead gopher servers would be pulled out of holes, leaky pipes would be mended etc.
They reckon the internet should run a lot faster after.

Will you need to be wear Howards floral apron for such a chore?
